Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Office Administrator for our Saskatoon Automation Centre to cover a maternity leave May 2026 – July 2027. Reporting to the Manager, Operations & Application Specialists, the Office Administrator is the first point of contact for many of our customers and visitors. This is an ideal opportunity for a co-op student or new graduate looking to gain experience in a supportive office environment. If you have a Customer First focus, strong communication skills, and a proactive and positive attitude, you are our ideal candidate!
Please note that this is an in-office position, Monday through Friday.
Role and Responsibilities
- Greet incoming customers and guests in a professional manner, ensuring they have an appropriate contact and are signed in and out of the building
- Maintain, monitor, and order office and kitchen supplies
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries
- Organize catering for day-to-day events and special customer and company functions, including ordering, setup and takedown
- Support coordination and execution of customer events
- Coordinate desk set-ups and office orientations for new hires and transferring employees
- Filing, photocopying, data entry, processing invoices and completing monthly expense reports
- May support Sales Coordinator Team as required
- Assist with other administrative duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum academic credentials: High School Diploma
- Exceptional customer service practices
- Strong customer focus; professional and pleasant
- Previous office administration experience an asset
- Computer application knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Good prioritizing, multi-tasking and decision making skills
- High degree of discretion and confidentiality
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
