Summary

We are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator (1 year temporary term). Reporting to the Sales & General Manager, Peace Region, the Office Administrator is the first point of contact for many of our customers and office visitors. They play a key role in building relationships with our customers, and ensuring we continue to provide exceptional customer service. This role is foundational to the administrative operations of the front office.  Your positive ‘can-do’ work ethic, combined with strong communication and relationship building skills, will allow you to work effectively with your internal and external customers.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support coordination and execution of customer events
  • Greet incoming customers and guests in a professional manner, ensuring they have an appropriate contact and are signed in and out of the building
  • Maintain, monitor, and order stationery and other office-related supplies
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries
  • Organize catering for day-to-day events and special customer and company functions, including ordering, setup and takedown
  • Coordinate desk set-ups and office orientations for new hires and transferring employees  
  • Filing, photocopying, data entry, processing invoices and completing monthly expense reports
  • Assist with other administrative duties, as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional customer service practices
  • Strong customer focus; professional and pleasant
  • Previous office administration experience an asset
  • Computer application knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Good prioritizing, multi-tasking and decision making skills
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
