Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Edmonton Automation, Measurement, and Ignition team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive and outgoing personality, and a strong ability to build relationships with both customers and internal teams.

Role and Responsibilities

•    Manage chargeable and non-chargeable depot and field service orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
•    Prepare quotes and invoices for depot and field service orders, maintaining accuracy and transparency.
•    Administer purchase orders for materials and subcontractors, coordinating with vendors as needed.
•    Provide administrative support for service technicians including site orientations, safety ticket management, customer terms and conditions review, scope determination, and contract adherence.
•    Support the scheduling and coordination of field service personnel to optimize efficiency.
•    Administer preventative maintenance and rental agreements, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
•    Collaborate with factories and subcontractors on repairs requiring external support.
•    Maintain proactive communication with customers and internal personnel throughout the order entry and service delivery process.
•    Identify opportunities to improve service delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
•    Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
•    1–2 years of related industry experience (asset).
•    Post-secondary education (asset).
•    Prior experience with SAP (asset).
•    Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced team environment.
•    Strong negotiating and communication skills.
•    Exceptional customer service practices.
•    Entrepreneurial work ethic.
•    Good decision-making and multitasking abilities.
•    Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
