Summary


We are currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator/Co-op Student. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the successful candidate will provide support and assistance with a variety of administrative duties, within the Human Resources team. 

Work Term – 8 Months
Location:  Calgary or Edmonton Office

Role and Responsibilities

•    Assist with recruitment activities (job postings development, posting positions, coordinating pre-screen video interviews, interview scheduling and preparation, facilitating checks and screening).  May participate in interview process for designated positions.
•    Support the new hire onboarding process by sending out new hire Welcome Packages, collecting onboarding documents and entering employee record data, emails, and preparing/conducting New Hire Orientations
•    Respond to employee enquiries in a timely manner.
•    Provide general administrative support, such as preparing presentations, updating content on the intranet and other miscellaneous projects as required.
•    Assist in the coordination of HR related events (Career Fairs, Leadership Conferences, Student Program Events, etc.)

Qualifications and Skills

•    Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies related to Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or equivalent, and returning to school after the co-op term.
•    Some experience working in HR or related coursework would be preferred.
•    Excellent computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
•    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
•    Strong organizational and time management skills.
•    Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
