Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Temporary General Labourer for our Edmonton Service Centre facility (5515 42 Street NW). The successful candidate must be able to commit to a minimum contract of 6 months, and will report to the Manager, Valve service - Valve and Actuation.

Role and Responsibilities

  • General laborer duties
  • Shop organizing and cleaning
  • Sandblasting and parts cleaning
  • Interacting with internal and external customers
  • Support in-house repairs
  • Painting valves and preparing for shipment
  • Assisting technicians with a variety of tasks
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends to meet customer requirements is mandatory
     

Qualifications and Skills

  • Team player
  • Mechanically knowledgeable
  • Forklift experience considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License is an asset 
  • Problem solving ability
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
