Summary
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician based out of our Edmonton Service and Distribution Centers. The selected candidate will be tasked with assembling, testing, running diagnostics, interpreting asset data and servicing a range of Emerson products related to the Valve and Measurement Solutions business.
Role and Responsibilities
• Assembly, testing, and calibration on a variety of Spartan products
• Interface with the sales team and customers to manage customer outcomes
• Participate in overtime as required to meet customer demands
• Provide Product Telephone support for internal and external customers
• Participating in our 7/24 on call rotation
• Customer site field service support to run diagnostics and collect asset data
• Inspect and Process customer credit orders
• Provide Quality Workmanship and Inspection for new and repaired product
Qualifications and Skills
• Journeyman Electrician
• Dual Ticket in Instrumentation would be a solid asset
• Valve and Instrumentation background and Field experience would be an asset
• Entrepreneurial work ethic
• Interpreting electrical wiring diagrams
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Solid Keyboarding and computer skills
• Valid Alberta driver's license
This role requires flexibility and the ability to commute to the customer site on a regular schedule.
