Summary
We are currently seeking an Education Administrator - Co-op Student based at our Edmonton Automation Centre. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance with a variety of administrative duties, within the Education team. This position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.
Work Term – 8 Months; longer terms will also be considered.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support working alongside the Education Coordinator
- Assist with invoicing, registration, credit card expenses, reporting data to Emerson, calendar management, assist with scheduling, coordinating shipments and logistics, updating content on the internet, and other miscellaneous projects as needed
- Work alongside the Technical Coordinator to ensure classrooms are setup with all equipment and administration needs including greeting customers
- Ship equipment and admin requirements when training is in other locations
- Respond to email enquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist in the coordination of Education lunch requirements (booking transportation, reservations at restaurants, providing details needed for in office catering)
Qualifications and Skills
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies related to Human Resources, Education, Business, Commerce, or equivalent, and returning to school after the co-op term.
- Some experience working in an administration related coursework would be preferred.
- Excellent computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
