Summary
We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Summer Student to join our Finance Team for the Summer. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the primary responsibility will be working in Accounts Payable, with additional Finance related work as required
Role and Responsibilities
- Accounts payable invoice entry
- Other administrative and accounting duties
Qualifications and Skills
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary school, with an emphasis on finance, accounting or business administration
- Good alpha/numeric data entry speed
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability for accurate and detail-oriented work
- Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
- Aptitude for superior customer service
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Able to respond to deadlines and complete assignments on time
- Ability to solve problems
- Maintain composure, effectiveness and flexibility under pressure
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
