Summary
We are recruiting for a Service Advisor, for our Services team, based in Calgary. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for a wide variety of service quoting functions. This includes quoting, invoicing and general coordination. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, a positive outgoing personality and strong relationship building skills. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager, Field Service.
Role and Responsibilities
- Effectively interface with customers
- Handling service request calls from customers
- Assisting customers with determining service levels and scope of work
- Working with the technical team to provide service quotes for customers
- Ownership of administrative aspect of service
- Quoting and Invoicing
- Transferring and ordering materials
- Creating purchase orders for tools and assets
- Reviewing field service requirements (travel, safety, accommodations)
- Interface with Sales group for customer support
- Extra work hours as required based on project demands
Qualifications and Skills
- Post-secondary education, with related office experience
- Accounting experience a strong asset
- Microsoft Office skills
- Fast, accurate keyboard skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Effectively work in a fast-paced team environment to meet multiple critical deadlines
- Extensive and exceptional customer service habits and practices
- Strong attention to detail, focus on accuracy and maintain quality while working to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone skills
- Work independently, self-motivated, thrive under pressure
- Familiarity with quotes, purchase orders, bills of materials, invoices, etc.
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
