Summary

 We are currently recruiting for a Materials & Logistics / Materials Handler role (1-year Temporary Term), based in our Calgary Solutions Centre.  This position reports to the Manager, Solutions Centre.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming, outgoing and internal deliveries 
  • Package outgoing shipments 
  • Handle inventory/stock, conduct stock counts, as required 
  • Handle customer communications regarding shipping/receiving 
  • Computerized data input on various operating systems 
  • Maintain on-time delivery 
  • Maintain clean work area

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous shipping/receiving and/or warehouse experience, an asset 
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Forklift operation (certification an asset but will train)
  • Experience working in SAP would be an asset
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in team environment 
  • Strong team player
  • Superior customer service skills and practices with a drive to “get it done”
  • Accurate and detail-oriented 
  • Superior work ethic
  • Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking skills 
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
