Summary

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator Co-op Student based at our Calgary Automation Centre.  The successful candidate will provide support and assistance with a variety of administrative duties within the Human Resources team and will report to the Vice President, Human Resources. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain human resources experience in a supportive office environment.


The term will start in Fall 2026, ideally beginning late August to allow for training with the current co-op student. 8 or 12 month terms will be considered. 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings development, posting positions, coordinating pre-screen video interviews, interview scheduling and preparation, facilitating checks and screening. May participate in interview process for designated positions.
  • Support the new hire onboarding process by collecting onboarding documents and entering employee record data and preparing New Hire Orientations
  • Respond to employee enquiries in a timely manner
  • Provide general administrative support, such as preparing presentations, updating content on the intranet and other miscellaneous projects as required
  • Assist in the coordination of HR related events (Career Fairs, Leadership Conferences, Student Program Events, etc.)

Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies related to Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or equivalent, and returning to school after the co-op term
  • Some experience working in HR or related coursework would be preferred
  • Excellent computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
